El próximo 31 de marzo a las 20:00 h tendrá lugar la inauguración de la próxima exposición en la “Galería del Virrey”.  Se expondrán obras del pintor belga Jaques Beeckmans, considerado como el último representante del fauvismo, el primer movimiento que floreció en Francia a principios del siglo XX.  Será una exposición muy especial ya que este artista ha decidido hacer la última exposición de su vida, fuera de Bélgica, en la Galería del Virrey en Jerez.

On March 31st, at 8 p.m., the inauguration of a new exhibit will be held at the “Galeria del Virrey” in Jerez.  The works of  Belgian painter Jaques Beeckmans will be on display.  He is considered to be the last representative of  Fauvism,  the first of the avant-garde movements that flourished in France in the early twentieth century.  It will be a very special exhibit since the artist has decided to hold this event, the last exhibit of his life outside of Belgium at the Galería Virrey in Jerez .
