Escapada enogastronómica a San Sebastian/ Culinary & Enological Escape to San Sebastian


Este verano hicimos una escapadita a San Sebastian.  Fueron tres días pero muy bien aprovechados y con los mejores guías del mundo,  nuestros amigos Nieves y Arturo, Sherry Explorers y parte del equipo Discover Sherry.   Uno de los días paseamos y comimos en Fuenterrabía con nuestros amigos y también Sherry Explorers, Arantxa y Enrique.  Por la tarde disfrutamos de una puesta de sol espectacular en San Juan de Luz, Francia, y unas ostras riquísimas.  Me llamó mucho la atención la bodega del restaurante Rekondo.  Tiene vinos viejísimos de jerez.  Bueno mejor os dejo ver las fotos que espero os gusten.

This summer we escaped from our daily routine to San Sebastian.  It was only for three days, but they were full and complete days with the best guides in the world – our friends Nieves and Arturo, who are also Sherry Explorers and members of the Discover Sherry team.   One of the days we traveled to, and had a wonderful lunch in, Fuenterrabía with a couple more friends and fellow Sherry Explorers, Arantxa and Enrique.  That afternoon we enjoyed a spectacular sunset and some amazing oysters in Saint Jean de Luz, which is right across the border in France.  On our trip, I was also very impresed with the wine cellar at the Rekondo restaurant, which has an amazing collection of vintage sherry wines.  Perhaps, the attached photos will give you a better idea of this fantastic getaway.
