Hemos hecho este pequeño video con las fotos de la última reunión en la que celebramos el año nuevo chino, nuestra invitada, Mónica Zhou nos hizo una cata comparativa de los vinos de arroz chinos y los vinos de jerez, escuchamos los gongs, reproducimos entre todos el ruido de los petardos apretando con fuerza un trozo de plástico con burbujas (idea de mi amiga Sara Hernández de El Paso, Texas), y brindamos por el año del gallo.  Una tarde muy completa y pedagógica y divertida.

We have created this short video with photos of our last meeting when we celebrated Chinese New Year.  Our guest speaker, Monica Zhou, presented a comparative tasting with Chinese rice wines and our local Sherry wines.   We heard the traditional gongs that introduced the new year.  We reproduced the sounds made by firecrackers by popping bubble wrap paper (which was an idea suggested by my friend Sara Hernández from El Paso, Texas).  And, finally, we toasted to the Year of the Rooster.  It was a very entertaining, educational, and complete evening.
