Discover Sherry recibió a un grupo de amigos austriacos del Club de Golf St. Pölten que vinieron a jugar al golf en Chiclana y Jerez.  También querían visitar una bodega y aprender sobre los vinos de jerez.   Después de jugar al golf toda una mañana en Montecastillo, Jerez, les organizamos una visita a la bodega González Byass.  Probaron Fino Tío Pepe y el Cream de Croft.  De allí fuimos paseando hasta El Almacén, un estupendo bar de tapas.  Allí hicimos una cata con Manzanilla San León de bodegas Argüeso, Amontillado Tío Diego de bodega Valdespino,  Oloroso Alfonso de bodegas González Byass y Pedro Ximénez  San Emilio de bodegas Lustau.   Los maridamos con las magníficas tapas que nos sirvieron.  Hubo sorteo de regalos y Discover Sherry también recibimos unos regalos, una botella de uno de los vinos más populares de Austria, Kracher elaborado con las uvas  Weinlaubenhoff  y las riquísimas galletas Manner Wien.  Fue una visita muy bonita y espero que se hayan ido enamorados del vino de jerez y que vengan a visitarnos pronto de nuevo.         ¡VIELEN DANK Golf Club St. Pölten!

Discover Sherry greeted a group of Austrian friends, who are members of the Golf Club St. Pölten in Austria and who came to play golf in Chiclana and Jerez.  They were also very interested in visiting a sherry bodega and learning about our wines.   After playing golf in Montecastillo, Jerez, we organized a visit to the González Byass winery.  They tasted Fino Tío Pepe and Croft Cream.  From there we walked to El Almacén, a great tapas bar.  We conducted a sherry tasting and tapas pairing  with Manzanilla San León from bodegas Argüeso, Amontillado Tío Diego from bodega Valdespino,  Oloroso Alfonso  from bodegas González Byass and Pedro Ximénez  San Emilio from bodegas Lustau.   The wines and the tapas were excellent.  We had a drawing for prizes and almost everyone received a gift.  We did too!  Discover Sherry received a bottle of Kracher, a traditional Austrian wine produced with Weinlaubenhoff grapes, and a box of  yummy Manner Wien cookies.  It was a very nice visit and we hope they fell in love with our sherry wines and come and visit us soon again.          ¡VIELEN DANK Golf Club St. Pölten!
