El Ventorrillo del Chato es un restaurante que nos encantó.    José Manuel Córdoba es el alma de esta antigua casa de postas del s. XVIII en la playa de la Cortadura de Cádiz.  José Manuel y su hermano Fernando, del también excelente restaurante El Faro de El Puerto, son hijos del fundador de El Faro de Cádiz, Gonzalo Córdoba.  Todo queda en familia, en una familia de extraordinarios restauradores.

“Ventorrillo del Chato” is a restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed.    José Manuel Córdoba is the heart and soul of this old,  18th century, way station  that is situated on the Cortadura beach in Cádiz.  José Manuel and his brother Fernando, who is the chef at another excellent restaurant – El Faro in El Puerto, are the sons of  Gonzalo Córdoba, who is the founder of the El Faro restaurant in Cádiz.  All in the family, in a family of outstanding restaurateurs.
