Asistimos a la presentación del libro “González Byass, Historia de una Bodega desde 1835” en la Bodega La Constancia. Bibiana González-Gordon dio la bienvenida a los asistentes en nombre de la Fundación González Byass, editora del libro.     Enrique García-Máiquez fue haciendo la presentación y la autora, Paula Fernández de Bobadilla, iba leyendo algunas de las anécdotas de su libro.  Al mismo tiempo, Ximena Maier, la ilustradora de este precioso libro, nos iba haciendo dibujos  en vivo y en directo.  Aquí os paso un ejemplo.

At the Bodega La Constancia, we attended the presentation of a book entitled “González Byass, Historia de una Bodega desde 1835.” Bibiana González-Gordon welcomed all who attended, on behalf of the González Byass Foundation which is the book´s publisher.     Enrique García-Máiquez presented the book and the author, Paula Fernández de Bobadilla, read some of the anecdotes which appear in her book.  At the same time, Ximena Maier, the illustrator of this beautiful book, delighted us with her spontaneous illustrations, creating drawings as the author spoke.  Attached is an example of the same.

El libro es entretenido, interesantísimo y muy ameno.  Lo recomiendo al cien por cien.

The book is entertaining, enjoyable, and very interesting.  I highly recommend it.
