La actividad del Sherry Week galardonada ha sido  “Sherry Tables” que consistía en la creación de diferentes eventos gastronómicos en diferentes regiones chinas que mostrasen la gran diversidad de su cocina y supusiese un desafío a la versatilidad de los vinos de Jerez: En el Norte, Pekín donde la cocina es sabrosa y potente.  En el Sur, Dongguan en la provincia Cantón, donde la cocina respeta el sabor original de las materias primas.  En el Este, Shanghai, con una cocina elaborada y delicada.  Y en el Oeste, Changsha en la provincia Hunan, con una gastronomía famosa por ser la más especiada y picante de toda China.

El evento ha sido seleccionado entre los más de 2500 que se celebraron durante la International Sherry Week en 30 países diferentes.  ¡¡De los 2500, tres los organizamos los Sherry Explorers!!

The honored Sherry Week activity, which was called “Sherry Tables,” consisted of the coordination of gastronomic events which were simultaneously held in various parts of China and which demonstrated the amazing variety that exists in Chinese cuisines.  These events presented a formidable challenge to our Sherry wines.  In the North, there was Beijing where the cuisine is savory and strong.  In the South,  Dongguan, in the  Canton province, where the cuisine focuses on the basic flavors of the primary materials. In the East, Shanghai, where the cuisine is elaborate, yet delicate.   And in the West,  Changsha,  in the Hunan province, with a cuisine well-known for being the most spicy and hot in all of China.

This event was identified as the best among more than 2500 events which were held in 30 different countries during the International Sherry Week celebration.  Of the 2500 events, the Sherry Explorers sponsored three!!
