José Luis Jiménez is a well-known Sherry-wine historian, member of the Royal Academy of Science, Arts, and Literature in Jerez, and a Sherry Explorer.  Among many other published writings, he has recently written a very interesting article about “The Men of the González Byass Winery.”  Reading the article has moved me because one of those men was my father, Eduardo Miller, who traveled all over the world promoting and selling Tio Pepe Sherry wine. He loved his job, and it was always a treat to visit the bodega with him when friends came to visit.  I met many of the persons mentioned in the article, and some of them, who still work at the winery, are good friends and Sherry Explorers.
