We recommend Hotel CASA PALACIO MARÍA LUISA, the only Five Star Grand Luxury Hotel that we can find in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz. It is located in a historic palatial house from the early nineteenth century, which throughout that century and during the twentieth century was home to important families from Jerez and housed the Jerezano casino, where the aristocracy and high society of the city met.
Es un lugar maravilloso. Tiene un restaurante, el T22 que también os recomiendo de corazón. El chef Alfonso Esquinas, ha diseñado una oferta gastronómica muy ligada al producto de la zona y regados por una carta de vinos donde los Vinos de Jerez, Brandies y Manzanillas cobran un importante protagonismo.
It is a beautiful place. It has a Restaurant, T22, which I also highly recommend. Chef Alfonso Esquinas, has designed a gastronomic offer closely linked to local produce. At T22 you will be able to enjoy a careful seasonal menu with products closely linked to the area and accompanied by a wine list where Sherry Wines, Brandy and Manzanilla, play an important role.
Simplemente ir a tomar una copita de jerez en el jardín ya es un placer. Ahora durante las fiestas de Navidad por las tardes tienen Roscones de Reyes elaborados por el pastelero del Hotel, Julio Morón que por cierto es uno de los 10 candidatos a convertirse en el Mejor Maestro Artesano Pastelero de España.
Just going for a nice glass of Sherry in their garden is a pleasure. Now during the Christmas Holidays they have the “Roscones de Reyes” typical Three Kings dessert. They are prepared by the Hotel´s Pastry Chef, Julio Morón who by the way is one of the ten candidates to become the best Master Craftsman Pastry Chef of Spain.
Como veis, aparte de quedaros a dormir en esta Casa Palacio, se puede ir a comer, tomar un café con Roscón de Reyes, visitar alguna de las múltiples exposiciones que ofrecen a lo largo del año o sencillamente a visitar este Palacio y ver la maravillosa decoración navideña. (Por cierto, no dejéis de ir al baño, ¡os sorprenderá!).
As you can see, besides staying at this Casa Palacio, you can go to the restaurant, have a coffee and Roscón de Reyes, visit some of the many exhibits they offer during the year, or just visit now and enjoy the amazing Christmas decoration. (Oh! And don´t forget to visit the restrooms, it will surprise you!)
