EXPERIENCE SPAIN es un evento que se lleva a cabo cada dos años, en el que se realizan actividades culturales españolas en Phoenix, Arizona. Todo ello organizado por nuestra Sherry Explorer Honoraria, Petra Rodríguez-Conde y su equipo de la Asociación de Españoles en Arizona (AEAZ).

EXPERIENCE SPAIN is an event that is held every two years where a variety of Spanish cultural activities are held in Phoenix, Arizona. They are all organized by our Honorary Sherry Explorer, Petra Rodríguez-Conde and her team from the Association of Spaniards in Arizona (AEAZ).

Este año, por primera vez en Arizona se probarán diferentes jereces de las Bodegas Lustau de Jerez con platillos creados especialmente para cada vino por el Chef Paul Steele. Rebecca DeVaney hará una introducción a los vinos de jerez e irá explicando cada uno de ellos.

El Cónsul General de España, D. Juan Carlos Sánchez Alonso, visitará Phoenix y asistirá a la cata de vinos de jerez. Nos hubiera encantado poder asistir y hacer nuevos Sherry Explorers, a la próxima, allí estaremos.

This year, for the first time at this event, different sherries from Bodegas Lustau from Jerez will be paired with dishes created especially for each wine by Chef Paul Steele. Rebecca DeVaney will give an introduction to the sherry wines and describe each of them as they are introduced.

The Consul General of Spain, Mr. Juan Carlos Sánchez Alonso, will visit Phoenix and attend the Sherry Wine tasting. We would have loved to attend and enlist new Sherry Explorers. Next time, we will be definitely there.

El Museo de Instrumentos (MIM) donde se realizará la cata, en Phoenix, fue inaugurado en Abril de 2010. Es el museo más grande de su tipo en el mundo. La colección de más de 15,000 instrumentos musicales y objetos asociados incluye ejemplos de casi 200 países y territorios, que representan todos los continentes habitados.

The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM), in Phoenix, will host the pairing and tasting. The museum opened its doors in April of 2010. It is the largest museum of its type in the world. Its collection of over 15,000 musical instruments and related objects, includes examples from nearly 200 countries and territories, representing every inhabited continent.
