Os invitamos a dar un paseo por una de las bodegas de Jerez más impresionantes, tradicionales, bonitas, clásicas, son pura historia.  Este reportaje muestra el recorrido que se hace durante la visita turística.  La primera parte se hace en un tren que atravesando los precioso jardines nos lleva a la bodega donde envejece el brandy Lepanto.  La segunda parte se hace paseando por varias bodegas y disfrutando del aroma único de los vinos de Jerez y y las cientos de botas en las que en silencio y penumbra envejecen algunos de los mejores caldos del mundo.  Mi padre trabajo muchos años en González Byass y siempre que venían amigos de fuera me encantaba llevarles a visitar la bodega y escuchar sus explicaciones.  Le apasionaba el mundo del vino de Jerez.  Espero poder compartir con vosotros en un futuro próximo otro reportaje de lugares misteriosos y secretos de esta bodega maravillosa.  Espero que disfrutéis de la música también, mi amiga BB y yo disfrutamos mucho de Simon & Garfunkel hace algunos años.

We invite you to take a stroll through one of the most amazing, traditional, beautiful, and classical  of the Sherry Bodegas in Jerez de la Frontera, which,  in my opinion, are all examples of living history.  This post shows the route that is taken within the bodega during a typical tourist visit.  The first part is accomplished via a small train which, after crossing beautiful gardens, takes us to the part of the bodega where Lepanto Brandy is aged.  The second part of the tour includes walking through various parts of the bodega, enjoying th unique aroma of the Sherry wines, and  viewing the hundreds of barrels which in shadows and silence age the best spirits in the world.  For many years,  my father worked at the González Byass winery and I recall taking my friends for a visit to the bodega and listening in fascination to the words of my father´s personalized tour.  There is no doubt that he had a passion for the world of Sherry wine.  I hope to share with you, in the near future, another report of the mysterious places and secrets of this marvelous bodega.  Meanwhile, I hope that you enjoy the music that I chose to accompany the attached video.  My friend BB and I used to really enjoy listening to Simon and Garfunkel, not so long ago.
