Gloria Fernández, Director of the Hotel Pinomar in El Puerto de Santa María, and Virginia Miller from Discover Sherry, attended  a very interesting Marco de Jerez  Enotourism Workshop  which was held within the Bodega San Ginés at the Consejo Regulador in Jerez.

The presenter was César Saldaña, the Director of the Consejo Regulador.  The best Sherry Professor!

El seminario lo impartió César Saldaña, el director del Consejo Regulador y el mejor profesor del vino de Jerez.

We learned about the present state of  the tourism market in Spain, in Andalucía and in the Sherry region, and how it is not only geared towards sun, beaches and golf, but also, more and more, towards culture, gastronomy and nature.  Of course we also learned about sherry wines, sherry vinegar and Brandy de Jerez.

Aprendimos sobre el turismo en España, en Andalucía y en la región del Marco de Jerez y cómo ya no solo predomina el turismo de sol, playa y golf, sino que cada vez más se busca cultura, gastronomía y naturaleza.  Por supuesto aprendimos sobre los vinos, el vinagre y el Brandy de Jerez.
