Today we visited the Cadiz Regional Wine Fair at the Santo Domingo Institute in El Puerto de Santa Maria. This learning center was an old dominican convent.  It has a beautiful cloister and a patio filled with orange trees.  At one time, it also was utilized as the City Hall.  Now, it is a learning center where students learn about, and receive diplomas in, viticulture and viniculture.

Hoy visitamos esta exposición de Vinos de la Tierra en el Instituto Santo Domingo en El Puerto de Santa María.  Este centro fue un antiguo convento dominíco, tiene un precioso claustro y patio de naranjos y la portada es de influencia americana. Durante una época también llegó a ser Ayuntamiento y centro de enseñanza en el que se imparten entre otros el titulo de Técnico Superior en Vitivinicultura.

There was a great variety of wines that are produced in the province of Cádiz, as well as other products like olive oil, cheeses, and cold cuts.

The labels were also very interesting and original.
