Visitamos el Mercado Central de Rota con nuestra amiga Pilar Ruiz Rodríguez-Rubio.  Nos llamó la atención un puesto que se llama “Tarta Flo”.

We visited the Public Market in Rota with our friend Pilar Ruíz Rodríguez-Rubio.  One of the stands caught our attention, “Tarta Flo.”

Toda la repostería es casera. Tartas. Galletas. Dulces y salados.  También hay ensaladas de cus-cus y de pasta entre otras.

All of the baked goods are homemade.  Cakes, Cookies, sweet bread, and quiches.  Among other things, there are also salads such as cus-cus and pasta salad.

Probamos estas tres tartas de frutas que estaban deliciosas.  También hay tartas saladas de calabacín y queso de cabra, de pisto, de bacon y emmental y suelen tener una que cambia cada día.

We tried these three fruit sweet tarts and they were delicious.  There are also non-sweet tarts:  pumpkin and goat cheese, vegetable, bacon, and Swiss cheese.  There is also one that is specially made for each day.
