Delgado Zuleta Winery, the oldest winery in the Sherry region, presented it´s Viña Galvana white wine at the Tinoteca in Cadiz.

Viña Galvana is a white wine produced in the Cadiz wine production zone.  It is a blend of the Palomino grape variety, grown in the Macharnudo vineyards, and the Moscatel grape variety, grown in various Costa de la Luz vineyards which are located between Chipiona and Sanlucar.  It is a young white wine, created from the first pressing of the grape harvest and as a result of cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, thereby maintaining its freshness and aromas.Delgado Zuleta Winery, the oldest winery in the Sherry region, presented it´s Viña Galvana white wine at the Tinoteca in Cadiz.

???????????????????????????????

It is golden in color, pale and bright.  In the nose, there is an intense aroma with strong fruity notes.  On the palate it is fresh, dry, and light,  with flavors of fruit.

The Marketing Director, José Federico Carvajal, and the winery´s enologist, Salvador Real, talked to us about this wonderful winery and explained how this wine was made.  All of those present enjoyed the wine and were taken by the fruity aromas.  It is a wine which developes upon serving.

The Tinoco gourmet shop provided some tapas which included mojama, empanada, cheese, and tuna.  Also served were “dobladillos de Cádiz” which were a great discovery for us and which we will definitely serve as a dish for pairing in upcoming tastings.  They all paired perfectly with the Viña Galvana wine.
