The summer is over and it is time to get back to learning about Sherry wines, sherry vinegar, and Brandy. On Friday, the 22nd of September, we are starting off this year´s session with a very special guest, Juan Manuel Hidalgo, who is a fifth-generation vintner at his family´s winery – Emilio Hidalgo de Jerez. He will talk to us about the history of this unique winery and about their philosophy as it relates to the creation of their wines. We will also have the pleasure of tasting some of those wines. As always, there will be a secret jury that will carefully select two of the tapas that the Sherry Explorers and their friends decide to bring with them. We will also have our first swearing-in ceremony of the season, so that we can add to that fantastic group of tireless explorers who continue to discover the treasures that exist in the Jerez wine-growing region. Please remember that we have to place a limit on the number of persons who can attend, so sign-up as soon as possible.
