¡Desde San Antonio, Texas nos visitan Sherry Explorers!

All the way from San Antonio, Texas, we were visited by some fellow Sherry Explorers!¿Recordáis que hace unos meses hicimos una cata en San Antonio, TX, y muchos de los asistentes hicieron su juramento de Sherry Explorers? Pues bien, Frances y Roel, dos de los incansables exploradores del vino y brandy de jerez nos visitaron con su familia.

Do you recall that only a few months ago we held a Sherry tasting in San Antonio, TX, and that many of the attendees took the Sherry Explorer´s pledge?  Well,  Frances and Roel, two of the tireless explorers of Sherry wines and Jerez Brandy came by to see us with members of their family.Frances, Roel, Carlos, y Carla y Ruben con sus hijos, Joshua y Eva, vinieron a Mijas, Málaga, a pasar unos días y no quisieron dejar de venir a experimentar de primera mano todo lo que les habíamos contado sobre los vinos de jerez.  Les acompañamos a visitar la Bodega González Byass y les fascinó ver todo el proceso de elaboración de los vinos que habían catado en San Antonio.

Frances, Roel, Carlos, Carla and Ruben along with their children  Joshua and Eva, came to Spain to spend a few días in Mijas, near Málaga, and they wanted to experience, first-hand, everything that they had learned about Sherry wines.  We accompanied them on a tour of the González Byass Winery.  They were fascinated to see the process and production of those Sherry wines which they had tasted in San Antonio.

Eva and Joshua took advantage of a moment to snap a picture with a giant Tío Pepe bottle.  They also were impressed by the nearby Jerez Cathedral.
Después de una estupenda comida en el restaurante A Mar, volvieron a Mijas, y luego a Granada y Madrid.  Ha sido un verdadero placer recibirles en la Tierra del Jerez y esperamos que tanto ellos como los otros Sherry Explorers nos visiten pronto.  ¡Gracias por vuestra visita ha sido un verdadero placer compartir con vosotros un día en la tierra del jerez!

After a fantastic lunch at the A Mar restaurant, they returned to Mijas, and then continued on to Granada and Madrid.  It was a real pleasure to greet them here in the Land of Sherry wines.  We hope to soon receive visits from other Sherry Explorers just like them. Thank you very much for coming by, it has been a real pleasure to be able to share with you a day in the Sherry Country!
