Discover Sherry recomienda el Restaurante Kabuki de cocina japonesa en el Hotel Wellington de Madrid. Nos lo habían recomendado y no nos defraudó en absoluto. Como siempre hacemos, preguntamos por los vinos de jerez y el sumiller, el portuense Jorge Thuillier, un excelente profesional, nos sirvió los vinos perfectos con los platos que degustamos. Nos impresionó la extensa carta de vinos y el conocimiento de este joven sumiller al que hemos invitado para que sea Sherry Explorer.
Discover Sherry highly recommends the Restaurante Kabuki, which features Japanese cuisine, at the Hotel Wellington in Madrid. It had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed. As we always do, we inquired about the Sherry wines that were offered. The sommelier, Jorge Thuillier (who is from El Puerto de Santa Maria and is an excellent professional), perfectly paired all of the dishes that we tasted. We were very impressed both by the extensive list of Sherry wines and with this young sommelier´s knowledge regarding the same. Of course, we have invited him to become a Sherry Explorer.
El menú, espectacular. Cada plato que llegaba nos impresionaba más y como mencioné antes, perfectamente armonizados con excelentes vinos.
The menu was spectacular. Each course that arrived impressed us just a little bit more than the former, and, as mentioned above, each was perfectly paired with excellent Sherry wines.
El personal de sala al igual que la cocina y sumillería, perfecto. Mil gracias por una experiencia genial.
