Había llegado el gran día y después de muchos preparativos, todo estaba listo para recibir a los invitados.   Es un día muy especial para los Sherry Explorers ya que es nuestro día de celebración.   El día del año en el que toca fiesta después de muchas clases maestras, conferencias, visitas a viñas, bodegas, etc… en las que lo más importante es seguir aprendiendo de los vinos y brandies del Marco del Jerez y de su zona de producción.

En la Bodega San Ginés del Consejo Regulador del Jerez-Xeres-Sherry se sirvieron los ricos aperitivos de Primitivo Catering.  Los asistentes también recorrieron la Subasta Silenciosa a favor de Manos Unidas que organizábamos por primera vez y fue un gran éxito.

The “big day” had arrived and, after a lot of preparation, everything was ready in order to greet our guests.  It was a very special day for the Sherry Explorers since it is our annual day of celebration.  It is the day of the year in which we celebrate the fact that previously we have attended many master classes, conferences, visits to vineyards and wineries, etc….     The underlying importance of which is to continue learning about the wines and brandies that are found in the Sherry Triangle and its production zone.

At the San Ginés bodega, in the Jerez-Xeres-Sherry Regulatory Council building, we started with the delicious appetizers served by Primitivo Catering.  The attendees also reviewed the items for sale at the Silent Auction (held for the benefit of the “Manos Unidas” charity) which we organized for the first time  and which was a great success.
