El primer Advanced Sherry Tour de Moni´s Sherry World será inolvidable para este grupo de chicas chinas que vivieron su semana inmersas en el Sherry.  Como ya os contamos, hicieron su juramento de Sherry Explorers el día que llegaron.  La siguiente semana recorrieron bodegas, viñas y restaurantes típicos en Jerez, Sanlúcar, Chiclana y El Puerto.  El último día de su estancia, las vestimos de flamenca y a la feria de Jerez.

The first Advanced Sherry Tour of Moni´s Sherry World was unforgettable for this group of Chinese women who experienced an entire week immersed in the Sherry world. As we have previously mentioned, they were sworn-in as  Sherry Explorers the very first day that they arrived.  The week that followed was spent visiting wineries, vineyards, and traditional restaurants in  Jerez, Sanlúcar, Chiclana, and El Puerto.  On their last day we dressed them up in flamenco dresses and headed out to the Feria of Jerez.Después de una estupenda comida en el Templete de González Byass, paseamos, bailamos y por cierto lo hacen con mucho estilazo aunque nunca han tomado clases!! Hacia calor, aire y polvazo, feria total.  Tuvieron ocasión de ver varias actuaciones de cante y baile flamenco y lo disfrutaron a tope. Todo regado con fino, rebujito o Croft Twist.  Creo que no olvidarán esta experiencia fácilmente.

After an excellent lunch at the González Byass Pavilion, we strolled around the fair grounds and danced at some of the casetas.  By the way, the ladies all danced with a beautiful and natural flair, although neither of them has ever taken any flamenco dance lessons! It was hot, windy, and dusty – as the Spring ferias tend to be.  We had the occasion to see some live flamenco guitar and dance performances, which they really enjoyed.  Of course, the whole experience was accompanied by fino, rebujito, or Croft Twist   I don´t think that our Chinese friends will easily forget their day at the Jerez feria.
