Muchos Sherry Explorers habían pedido volver a hacer la cata de bombones belgas y vinos de jerez y así lo hicimos.  El aforo se completó en un día y más de sesenta amigos disfrutamos de unos riquísimos bombones Leonidas llegados directamente de Bélgica que maridamos con vinos de la zona de producción del jerez y maravillosa música de violín.

Many Sherry Explorers had requested a repeat of the Belgian chocolate tasting which had been paired with Sherry wines, so we did so.  We had a full house within one day of our posting.  More than sixty friends enjoyed some delicious Belgian Leonidas chocolates, paired with various wines from the Sherry production zone and accompanied by some beautiful violin music.Wim Casteur, Formador Homologado del vino de Jerez, importador de vinos en Bélgica, y como no, Sherry Explorer, llevó a cabo la cata.  Nos explico cada vino y cada bombón su maridaje y cómo unos contrastaban y otros harmonizaban.  Super interesante.  Cuando llegó el momento las luces se apagaron y Ana Castillero, la maravillosa violinista, nos hizo volar a otro mundo con su música.  Bombón + vino  de Jerez + violín + Sherry Explorers = armonía perfecta.

Wim Casteur, Certified Sherry Wine Educator, who is an importer of wines in Belgium, and of course a Sherry Explorer, conducted the tasting.   He identified each wine and its respective paired chocolate.  Then, he explained how each contrasted, or harmonized, with one another. It was very interesting.  When the appropriate moment arrived, the lights were lowered and Ana Castillero, a marvelous violinist, transported us to another world with her music.  Chocolate + Sherry wine + violín + Sherry Explorers = perfect harmony.
