Nos visita el Chef Javier Rodriguez de DELIRIOS, León./We receive a visit from Javier Rodriguez, Chef at Delirios Restaurant in León.


Nos visitó el Chef Javier Rodriguez del Restaurante Delirios y Tapas de León. En octubre de 2018 Discover Sherry fuimos a hacer una cata de vinos de jerez a su restaurante en esa maravillosa ciudad donde nací.  Hace unas semanas le recibimos encantadas en tierras del jerez y le llevamos a visitar la Bodega González Byass donde Pepe Argudo, Sherry Explorer Honorario y Group Marketing Manager de la Bodega, nos atendió de maravilla. A nuestros amigos de León, les encantó la visita.

Recently, we received a visit from Javier Rodriguez, who is the Chef at Restaurante Delirios y Tapas in the City of  León.  In October of 2018,  Discover Sherry went to Javier´s restaurant, in that marvelous city where I was born,  in order to conduct a Sherry wine tasting.  Just a few weeks ago, we were thrilled to host Javier on his visit to the Land of Sherry.  We first took him, and a friend, to visit the González Byass Winery where Pepe Argudo, Honorary Sherry Explorer and Group Marketing Manager for the winery, graciously showed us around.  Our friends from León, were delighted with their personalized VIP tour.Nuestra siguiente parada fue el Restaurante El Faro de El Puerto donde disfrutamos de una magnífica comida y le presentamos al Chef Fernando Córdoba. Había un grupo muy divertido que celebraba San Fermín y nos invitaron a su fiesta.

Our next stop was at the El Faro Restaurant in El Puerto de Santa María where we introduced our friends to Chef Fernando Córdoba.   Afterwards, we shared a magnificent meal.  Curiously present at the restaurant was a very lively group that was celebrating Pamplona´s San Fermin festival.  We were invited to join in their celebration which we thoroughly enjoyed.Nuestra última parada fue en Puerto Sherry.  Probaron algunos de los ricos postres del Restaurante Tilcara y disfrutamos de la preciosa vista del puerto.  Fue un día intenso y maravilloso y esperamos que Javier y Paula vengan pronto a visitarnos otra vez ya que quedan muchas bodegas por visitar y platos típicos de la cocina andaluza que probar!

Our last stop was at  Puerto Sherry.  We tried some of the delicious desserts that are prepared daily at the Tilcara Restaurant.  The view of the boats and the nearby port was spectacular.  All in all, it was an intensely marvelous day.  We hope that Javier and Paula come by an visit us again, since we would love to accompany them to the many Sherry wineries which we did not visit, and in trying some more of our traditional Andalusian cuisine!
