Fátima Ruiz Lassaletta ha aceptado nuestra petición de nombrarla Sherry Explorer Honoraria en nuestra próxima Cena de Honor del día 18 de abril 2020.  Fátima nos envía esta nota:

Es un gran honor para mí, querida condiscípula Virginia, compartir este homenaje – que has participado a nuestra ‘asociación’ de más de mil Sherry Explorers – con profesionales del Vino y de la Comunicación de tanta valía y actualidad y de Medios y Bodegas, que me son tan cercanos desde hace ya medio siglo, como ‘El Diario’ o el antiguo Club de Gourmets, Barbadillo y Estévez – ambas de dos viejos amigos que se fueron en el mismo año- y Maestro Sierra, de amigas a las que deseo larga vida y con otros ‘free lancers’ que tanto amamos al Jerez y Brandy, como fuente desde hace al menos 200 años de la fuerte economía del Marco. Thank you Virginia, my old schoolmate. It would be a great honor for me to share this tribute- which you have published to our “group” of more than one thousand Sherry Explorers- with such valued and present-day Media and Sherry Wine professionals. Most of these, with whom I have developed a close bond for nearly half a century, include: “El Diario,” the old Gourmets Club, Barbadillo, Estevez,  (the latter two belonging to old friends who passed-on in the same year) and Maestro Sierra, which also belongs to some old friends and to whom I wish very long lives.   I will also being sharing this honor with other “free lancers,” who maintain our love for Sherry and Brandy in common, and who recognize that both Sherry and Brandy have been an undeniable factor in maintaining  our local economy strong, for at least the last 200 years.  A Thousand Thanks and Kindest Regards.
