Nuestra Sherry Explorer Honoraria,  Fátima Ruiz de Lassaletta, presentó en el Club Las Redes de El Puerto, su nuevo libro, ‘Cocina, bodega y protocolo. Por fogones de Andalucía y Francia’.  Es la séptima de sus obras y la tercera dedicada a la gastronomía. Estuvo acompañada por el editor de Peripecias Libros Antonio Aguayo Cobo y por los prologuistas, el chef José Romero-Valdespino y el comunicador Eugenio Camacho, ambos Sherry Explorers (y Miller alumni!).

One of our Honorary Sherry Explorers, Fátima Ruiz de Lassaletta, presented her new book ¨Cocina, bodega y protocol, por fogones de Andalucia and France¨. ( Favorite recipes, paired with Spanish Sherry wine or French wines, as learned in the kitchens of Andalusia and France).  It is the seventh of her works and the third dedicated to gastronomy. She was accompanied by the editor of Peripecias Book Publishing, Antonio Aguayo Cobo and by the reviewers of the book, chef José Romero-Valdespino and journalist Eugenio Camacho,(who are both Sherry Explorers and Miller alumni)!

En su libro, y basándose en su experiencia como periodista gastronómica tanto en España como en Francia, Fátima ofrece recetas y marida la alta cocina francesa con vinos de once regiones vinícolas de ese país.  Allí tuvo la oportunidad de cocinar junto a varios grandes chefs franceses.  Además, en su libro también describe la preparación, y el maridaje, de platos andaluces muy populares utilizando vinos de la región vinícola de Jerez.  

Incluye, además,  una sección muy informativa sobre la mesa y el protocolo.

In her book, and drawing on her experience as a gourmet journalist in both Spain and France, Fátima provides recipes and. pairs French haute cuisine with wines from eleven French wine regions.  There she had the opportunity to cook alongside several great French chefs.  In addition, in her book she also describes the preparation, and the pairing, of very popular Andalusian dishes utilizing wines from the Sherry wine region.   

The book also includes a very informative section on dining protocol.
