Organizado por Discover Sherry y el Hotel Pinomar la I EXPO SHERRY tuvo lugar el 9 de noviembre.  Fue un éxito total.  A las 12 del mediodía cuando se abrieron las puertas al público todo estaba listo, los stands preparados y los organizadores con los nervios a flor de piel sin saber muy bien qué esperar en esta “primera vez” de una exposición de artículos relacionados con uno de nuestros mayores tesoros, los vinos de Jerez.

Organized by Discover Sherry and Hotel Pinomar, the First EXPO SHERRY was held on November 9th.  It was a complete success.  At 12 noon, when the doors were opened to the public, everything was ready to go.  The stands were ready and the organizers were a little nervous  since no one knew what to expect.  This was the first time an exposition had been held showcasing products related to the sherry industry, one of the region´s major treasures.

Pasadas la una de la tarde ya habían llegado las personalidades invitadas y se procedió a la inauguración.  Gloria Fernández, Directora de eventos del Hotel Pinomar,  dió la bienvenida a los asistentes en nombre del Hotel Pinomar.

A little past 1 p.m. the guests of honor arrived and the inauguration ceremony began. Gloria Fernández, Director of Events at the Hotel Pinomar, greeted everyone in attendance on behalf of the Hotel Pinomar and Discover Sherry.

Raúl Capdevila, Concejal de Turismo de El Puerto de Santa María cortó la cinta y proclamó inaugurada la I EXPO SHERRY.

Raul Capdevila, Tourism Councilman for the City of El Puerto de Santa Maria cut the ribbon and proclaimed the commencement of the First Expo Sherry.

No podía faltar el brindis con un jerez.

A toast with Sherry wine was a must.

Bueno, ya estaba inaugurada la I EXPO SHERRY y ahora a ver qué nos deparaba el día.
