Ya está todo listo para la celebración el día 9 de junio de la VI edición de la Copa Jerez, un concurso internacional de maridajes enogastronómicos.  Participan  Alemania, Bélgica, Dinamarca, España, Estados Unidos, Países Bajos, Reino Unido y Rusia.  Hay previsto una asistencia de más de 300 profesionales de la hostelería y periodistas.

Everything is ready for the celebration, this 9th of June, of the 6th Annual Copa Jerez which is an international competition focused on the pairing of food and wine.  The participants are from:  Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, United States, Holland, United Kindgdom and Russia.   It is estimated that more than 300 restaurant professionals and journalists will be present.

La ‘Copa Jerez’ es el mayor encuentro gastronómico internacional en torno al vino de Jerez.  El prestigio internacional de este certamen reside tanto en el altísimo nivel de los equipos finalistas y de los platos elaborados, así como de los integrantes del jurado suelen ser personas de primer nivel del mundo de la gastronomía.

The ‘Copa Jerez’ is the principal international culinary event as it relates to Sherry wine.   The international prestige attributed to this event is based both upon the high level of expertise demonstrated by the team finalists present, as well as upon the members of the jury who usually are persons from the upper echelon of the culinary world.
