El Sherry Explorer Honorario, Don César Saldaña, hizo la presentación sobre los incansables exploradores del Vino y Brandy de Jerez.  Explicó a los candidatos, quiénes somos, qué hacemos, y los requisitos para hacer el juramento, todo en forma muy divertida y acto seguido todos hicieron su juramento.  ¡Bienvenidos a los nuevos Sherry Explorers!  y ya somos 597!!!!

Honorary  Sherry Explorer, Mr. César Saldaña, conducted the presentation relating to the tireless explorers of Sherry wines and Jerez Brandy.  He explained to the candidates: who we are, what we do, and the requisites for taking the oath.    It was all made in great fun and, afterwards, the candidates were sworn-in.  Welcome to the new  Sherry Explorers!  We are now 597 strong!!!!

As I mentioned in a previous post, (https://discoversherry.com/2018/03/29/xx-aniversario-del-hermanamiento-jerez-el-paso-texas-20th-anniversary-of-the-sister-city-agreement-between-the-cities-of-jerez-and-el-paso/) this year is the 20th anniversary of the signing of the  sister-city agreement between the Cities of Jerez de la Frontera and El Paso, Texas.  Pilar Chico, Mª José Daza, and Esteban Cosano, who are members of the Albatros group which is in charge of maintaining all of the sister-city agreements entered into by the City of Jerez, made a toast in honor of that memorable event.
